Lady Panthers – Week
6
The
Lady Panthers opened district 15-4A with
tough losses against Lancaster, Arlington
Sequin and Ennis. Next up, the Mansfield
Rotary Club tournament.
First game is Thursday (29 Dec) against
North Shore (Houston) at Timberview H.S.
Tip off is scheduled for 1:15 pm. The Lady
Panthers record is 8-10.
Junior Varsity
The
JV and Freshmen Lady Panthers are off for
the holidays and will return to the hardwood
on 04 January against Corsicana. Tip –off
is slated for 5:00 and 6:30 pm at the
Midlothian Arena.

8th Grade Lady Cubs vs Mansfield
Wester
The 8th grade Lady Cubs
A team comes up short 54-18.
Despite the score the girls played well.
The Lady Cubs came out strong with a 6
point lead in the first quarter and handling
Wester's press. Unfortunately, the press
caught up with them in the second quarter
and they were outscored 22-0. Ashley C.,
Paige W. and Brooke S. gave strong defensive
efforts. Scoring for the Lady Cubs was
Ashley C., 8, Shelby R. 4, Alyssa F. 4, and
Paige
W. 2.
7th Grade Lady Cubs vs Mansfield
Wester
The 7th grade Lady Cubs
A team falls, 63-15.
Scoring were K. Cox 2 points, M. Spillers 2
points, T. Kratz 2 points, A. Sevart 5
points and C. Tobolka 4 points. Despite
losing, FSMS played hard until the end.
Next game for the Lady Cubs will be at home
against Alvarado on January 7.
The 7th grade Lady Cubs B team
drops one, 37-6
Scoring were K. Bates, K. Wiggins and L.
Casada with two points each. All of the Lady
Cubs gave a good effort in the game. Next
Game will be at home against Alvarado on
Monday, January 7 starting at 5:45pm.
The Frank Seale Middle School coaches want
to thank fans and parents for cheering the
girls on from beginning to end of each game.

Walnut Grove Middle School:
The 8th Grade Lady Cats B Team were crowned
District Champions after taking 1st place in
the District Tournament. Defeating Mansfield
Worley, 1st Seed Mansfield Howard, and 2nd
Seed Mansfield Wester, the Lady Cats are now
9-0 so far this season!
The Lady Cats 7th grade B team
placed 2nd in the District
Tournament. Way to Go Girls!!!
